walk with me
The musical narrative, Walk With Me, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the bombing of Birmingham's Sixteenth Street Baptist Church that killed four young girls and injured twenty-two others. It is based on the book While the World Watched: A Birmingham Bombing Survivor Comes of Age during the Civil Rights Movement by author Carolyn Maull McKinstry who was one of the survivors of that horrific act of injustice. While the World Watched has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show and C-SPAN2. It serves as a tool for the author's national and international work in a ministry of reconciliation, forgiveness and the relevance of dealing with terrorism in the context of today’s environment.
Ms. Eleanor McClellan, narrator
Dr. Tiffany Bostic-Brown, soprano
Mr. Kevin Thomas, tenor
Dr. Terrance Brown, baritone
